Climb Mount Kilimanjaro
.Mount Kilimanjaro, the Crown of Tanzania and the Roof of Africa, stands as the continent's highest mountain and the world’s tallest free-standing peak, reaching 5,875 meters above sea level. Remarkably, it lies just 330 km from the equator.
This majestic mountain features three volcanic summits: Shira at 3,962 meters, Mawenzi at 5,149 meters, and Kibo, the tallest and youngest, at 5,895 meters. While Shira is extinct, Kibo is considered dormant and has the potential to become active in the future.

When to Climb Mount Kilimanjaro
The best months for trekking Mount Kilimanjaro are January, February, and September, when the weather is warmer, skies are clearer, and there's less chance of rain. June, July, and August also offer good climbing conditions, but the mountain can be quite cold as it marks the start of Tanzania's 'winter' season.
Climbing during the rainy seasons, from March to early June and in November and December, is more demanding and challenging due to wet conditions. However, with proper preparation and guidance from professional guides, it's still achievable.
For an unforgettable experience, aim to reach Kilimanjaro's summit during a full moon. The bright moonlight enhances trail visibility and creates a spectacular, breathtaking scene as you stand atop the Roof of Africa.
